Terms of Service

Last updated 26 August 2026.

These Terms govern your use of Postbase (the “Service”), operated by Whoamie. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Postbase does

Postbase lets you connect your own social media accounts once and then publish your own content to them — from our web console, from our REST API, or from an AI agent over our MCP server. We act on your instruction. We do not create, select, or edit the content you publish.

2. Accounts

You must provide an accurate email address and keep your password secret. You are responsible for everything done through your account and your API keys. New accounts are waitlisted: you can sign in and look around, but connecting accounts and publishing are unavailable until we approve you. We may decline or revoke approval at our discretion.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and old enough to hold an account on each platform you connect.

3. Your connected platforms

When you connect a platform, you authorise Postbase through that platform’s own OAuth consent screen. Your use of each platform remains governed by that platform’s terms, and those terms win over ours in respect of what you may post there. You are responsible for complying with them — including their rules on automation, duplicate content, and disclosure.

We cannot guarantee any platform will accept a post, keep it up, or keep its API available to us. A platform may suspend your account or revoke our access for reasons outside our control.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to everything you publish through Postbase. You grant us only the narrow, temporary licence needed to transmit it to the platforms you have selected. You confirm you have the rights to publish it.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Postbase to:

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this section, without notice where the breach is ongoing or serious.

6. API keys and automation

API keys carry your full posting permissions. Treat them as passwords, store them outside version control, and revoke any key you no longer use — you can do this yourself at any time. Anything published with your key is treated as published by you. Plan limits are enforced before publishing; exceeding them means a request is refused, not silently dropped.

7. AI drafting

Postbase can draft posts for you. Those drafts are produced by a third-party language model and are suggestions, nothing more. You are responsible for what you publish, exactly as if you had typed it: read a draft before it goes out.

The writer is instructed not to invent statistics, customer numbers, funding, awards, testimonials or partnerships, and to leave a bracketed placeholder where a real figure belongs. That instruction is followed most of the time, not always. Treat any specific claim in a draft as unverified until you have checked it.

Using the feature sends your brand description and the goal you typed to the model provider configured on this instance. See the privacy policy for what is sent and to whom.

8. Early access

Postbase is in early access. Plans are not for sale yet, there is no checkout, and the tiers on offer are set by hand. Features may change or be withdrawn, and a network can be paused while its API or our access to it is being sorted out — when that happens the console says so and tells you why.

Nothing here is a service level commitment. If you need one, talk to us before you build something that depends on it.

9. Availability

The Service is provided as is. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it. We will give reasonable notice of a material change or discontinuation where we can. Scheduled maintenance may make the Service briefly unavailable.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. On deletion we remove your stored credentials, including every OAuth token we hold for you, within 30 days. Disconnecting a platform deletes that platform’s tokens immediately. Deleting your Postbase account does not delete anything already published to a platform — remove that on the platform itself.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or loss arising from a platform rejecting, removing, or mis-delivering a post. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or, if you have paid nothing, to the cost of providing the Service to you.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top and, for a material change, notify you by email or in the console before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms.
